Gymnastics Adds Margzetta Fazier to Coaching Staff

PHILADELPHIA – Interim head gymnastics coach Brittney Miller announced Friday the hiring of former NCAA gymnast Margzetta Frazier as an assistant coach ahead of the 2027 season.
"We couldn't be more excited to welcome Margzetta to Temple. She represents so much of what we want Temple Gymnastics to embody—passion, resilience, authenticity, and a relentless commitment to excellence. Her experiences as an elite-level student-athlete, along with her knowledge and experience navigating the NIL landscape, will be invaluable to our program and our student-athletes," said Miller. "Margzetta's ability to inspire, connect with others, and empower young women both in and outside of the gym makes her an incredible addition to our staff. She believes in where Temple Gymnastics is headed, and I am excited to have her alongside us as we continue building something special."
She was a USA Gymnastics National Team Member in 2017 and 2018 and spent six years as a member of the UCLA Gymnastics program. During her collegiate career, she became a four-time All-American on uneven bars and floor exercise, was recognized as UCLA's MVP, received the first-ever Pac-12 Coaches Award, earned Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors multiple times, and won a silver medal on bars at the Pac-12 Championships.
She was also part of a UCLA team that finished third at the NCAA Championships. These accomplishments demonstrate not only her individual talent, but also her understanding of championship-level preparation, team culture, consistency, and performance under pressure.
"I want to thank the entire coaching staff at Temple for giving me the opportunity to step into this role. Coming back to the east coast and contributing to this program is something I am really looking forward to. I believe in the direction of this program and I am looking forward to helping the student-athletes any way I can."
Frazier hails from Sicklerville, N.J. and was a gymnast at Parkettes before heading to UCLA.
