Women's Basketball Falls to Massachusetts 69-42

Amherst, Mass. (January 27) - The Temple women's basketball team lost to

Massachusetts, 69-42, January 27 at the Mullins Center.

The Owls were led by junior Ieesha Turnage who scored 10 points,

including 8-for-10 from the free throw line. Sophomore Lisa

Jakubowicz added six points.

It marked the eighth loss in a row for the Owls who drop to

5-14 on the season. Temple will next play at Rhode Island on

Jan. 29 at 2:00 p.m.
