Owls Fall in Overtime to Rhode Island

PHILADELPHIA - The Owls are still looking for their first Atlantic 10 victory after falling to Rhode Island 1-0 in overtime Friday afternoon (10-6-00).

The Temple men's soccer squad returned home for the first time in over three weeks to face the Rams but were unable to overcome the No. 18 Rams.

The lone goal scorer was senior captain Steven DeMoura (Bethel, Conn./Bethel), who netted the ball at 96:47. He was unassisted.

The Owls fall to 1-8-0 overall and 0-3-0 in the Atlantic 10. Temple will host the University of Massachusetts on Sunday, October 8, at 1:00 p.m. at Temple Stadium.
