Philadelphia - The Temple volleyball team raised its match record to 15-8, 11-2 in the Atlantic 10 Conference with a road win over La Salle, three games to none. The game scores were 15-1, 15-1 and 15-6 for the Owls who hit .405 for the match.

Senior All-America candidate Alma Kovaci, the reigning Atlantic 10 Player of the Year, led Temple with a match-high 11 kills and 11 digs and hit .455 for the match. Freshman Margaret Majewska (10 kills, four digs) also played well for the Owls.

La Salle was paced by Kristin Russo with seven kills and six digs in a match that took just one hour and six minutes to complete.

Next up for the Owls is a road trip to Fordham (Saturday, November 4 at 4:00 p.m.).
