Women's Gymnastics Places Sixth at Towson Invitational

Philadelphia, Pa.-- The Temple women's gymnastics team placed sixth out of six teams at the Towson Invitational yesterday in

Towson, Md.

George Washington won the meet with a 194.375, while Towson finished second at 193.050. James Madison

finished with a 190.275, Yale finished with a 189.800 and UPenn finished with a 188.900 while the Owls ended out the meet with a

185.825.

Sophomore Maggie Tolerico (Kingsley, Pa.) placed tenth in the all-around with a mark of 37.200. Tolerico tied ninth on the floor

exercise with a 9.475. Freshman Andrea McGary from Aurora Colo. tied for seventh on the vault with a 9.700.

The Owls will compete in Amherst, Mass. against the UMass Minutewomen this Saturday, February 26 at 4:00 p.m.
