Women's Gymnastics Ousted at UMass

Philadelphia, Pa.-- Temple Women's Gymnastics lost this weekend to UMass' Minutewomen being outscored 193.275-187.925.

The Owls scored a 47.525 on vault, a 45.700 on bars, a 46.800 on the beam and a 47.900 on the floor exercise.

Freshman Andrea McGary landed a third place finish on the vault with a 9.650 while seniors Melissa Gramiak and Julie Gallagher

tied for fourth place on the bars with a 9.400. Senior Anne Koerner tied for third on the beam with a 9.650 while sophomore Maggie

Tolerico finished third on the floor exercise with a 9.775.

The Owls will compete in their last home meet on Sunday, March 5 against Rhode Island, Western Michigan and West Chester at

1:00 p.m.
