Philadelphia, Pa. -- Temple women's gymnastics loss to Maryland on Friday when the Terps outscored the Owls 197.125-189.225.

The Owls scored a 47.350 on vault, a 46.075 on bars, a 47.500 on the beam and a 48.300 on the floor exercise.

Freshman Andrea McGary landed a fourth place finish on the vault with a 9.700 while sophomore Maggie Tolerico finished sixth

on the beam with a 9.750, third in the all-around with a 38.200 and fifth on the floor exercise with a 9.775.

Temple will compete in the Bell Atlantic/Atlantic 10 Championship on Saturday, March 18 at 4:00 p.m hosted by the University of

Massachusetts.
