Women's Gymnastics Finishes Third in Last Home Meet

Philadelphia, Pa.-- Senior Anne Koerner set Temple's all-time mark on the floor exercise with a 9.95 in yesterday's final home meet
in McGonigle Hall. Temple came in third place with a 186.125 over West Chester (184.325) while Western Michigan landed first
place with a 194.125 and University of Rhode Island finished second with a 191.400.
The Owls also scored a school record on the floor exercise with a 48.975. Sophomore Maggie Tolerico landed a career-high and
second place finish on the floor exercise with a 9.900. Sophomore Becky Bubeck also set a career-high on the floor exercise with a
fifth place finish scoring 9.825 along with sophomore Deven Miller, who finished with a 9.500.
Freshman Andrea McGary also had an impressive finish landing two career highs on the floor exercise (9.800) and the uneven
bars (8.100) Senior Julie Gallagher completed her last home meet with a career-high on bars (9.800) and senior Danielle Corbin also
finished with a career-high (9.250).
The Owls are in action on Friday, March 10 at 7:00 p.m. in Maryland as they take on the Terps.
