PHILADELPHIA - The Temple University men's soccer squad was defeated 1-0 by Soccer Seven rival Philadelphia University Saturday afternoon (9-9-00).

The Owls couldn't get their offense going, recording just nine shots to the Rams' 14. The lone goal scorer for Philadelphia was sophomore forward Jason Dzielak (Newark, Del./St. Mark's), who found the net in the second period. Junior Adam Pollack (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) recorded the assist.

Yellow cards were issued to Temple defenders Brian Torrence and Wendell Beres.

The Owls host the Delaware Blue Hens at Temple Stadium on Wednesday, Sept. 13, at 3:30 p.m.
