The Owls Land Season-Opening Win Over Ursinus

1.13.01 | Women's Gymnastics

PHILADELPHIA - Temple women's gymnastics team scored a season- opening victory over Ursinus College. The Owls defeated Ursinus with an final team score of 179.350 to 178.800.

Juniors Cathy Patton, Andrea McGary and Cicely Warrington led the Owls. All three gymnasts posted meet highs in their individual events. Patton's average score of 9.50 was high on parallel bars, Warrington's average score of 9.50 was high on the floor exercise and McGary's average of 9.225 was high on the vault.

The Owls next will host Rutgers at McGonigle Hall on January 17th at 7pm.
