Women's Gymnastics Places Fifth At George Washington Invitational

PHILADELPHIA (Jan. 21) - The Temple Women's gymnastics team placed fifth at the George Washington Invitational this weekend.The Owls placed fifth out of seven collegiate teams.

Temple's overall score of 185.150 defeated Cornell (184.750) and Radford (86.75) added two wins to their season total. Penn (186.00), William & Mary (188.875), host George Washington (191.900) and the meet winner North Carolina State (192.350) defeated the Owls dropping their overall record to 3-5.

The Owls will next host James Madison University in a duel meet with the men's program Sunday January 28th (12 noon) in Mc Gonigle Hall.
