Rehoboth Beach Golf Invitational Cancelled

The second annual Rehobeth Beach Invitational was canceled due to heavy rain at Kings Creek Country Club in Rehoboth Beach, Del.

The Temple golf team was scheduled to play in the 36-hole tournament hosted by George Washington. It would have been the Owls' third tournament of the fall season and their final match before this weekend's Temple Invitational.

Fourteen teams are scheduled to join the Owls at the Temple Invitational October 5-6 at Glenmaura National Golf Club in Moosic, Pa.

St. John's, St. Bonaventure, Rutgers, Duquesne, Maryland, St. Joseph's, Central Connecticut State, Princeton, George Washington, Penn, Drexel, Villanova, Loyola (Md.) and the University of Ottawa are scheduled to attend.
