GOLFERS TIE FOR SECOND AT STABLER INVITATIONAL

For the second straight tournament the Temple golf team finished in second place. The Owls finished in a four-way tie with Penn, St. Bonaventure and Princeton at the Stabler Invitational in Center Valley, Pa. on October 12-13.

Gerry Chen led the Owls with a two-day score of 145 to finish in a tie for fourth place in the individual standings. Jon Rusk and James Chan each tied for 11th, Pat O'Neil tied for 26th and Bill Mullin rounded out the score finsihing in a tie for 87th.

The Owls finish out the fall season October 28-29 at the Georgetown Invitational in Leesburg, Va.
