WOMEN'S CREW COMPETE IN NAVY DAY REGATTA

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple University women's crew team competed in their first race of the season on Saturday, October 13, 2001 at the Navy Day Regatta.

The women's varsity eight finished sixth in the college Heavy Eights Race while the novice boats "A" and "B" finished 12th and 13th consecutively. The Owls also finished 10th in the College Fours race.

Next up for women's crew is the Head of the Charles Regatta on October 21, 2001 in Boston, Massachusetts.
