Three Owls Named to All-MAC Women’s Rowing Teams
5.18.26 | Women's Rowing
YPSILANTI, MICH. – Anna Borg, Eve Keesecker, and Samantha Schuberth have all been named to All-MAC teams at the conclusion of today's 2026 Women's Rowing Championships.
Schuberth was named to All-MAC First Team and Borg and Keesecker were each named to the All-MAC Second Team.
Schuberth remained a consistent force throughout her entire four-year career as an Owl, especially during her senior year. The team captain held it down in the varsity eight all season, leading the Owls to a lot of success on the water. She helped Temple to a dominate performance at the Dad Vail Regatta last weekend, good enough to earn Temple the Women's Points Trophy. In Saturday's MAC Championship, Schuberth and the rest of the V8 finished in second place in the grand final, the best finish by a V8 in a conference championship in 20 years.
Borg spent her entire sophomore season as a vital member of the varsity eight boat. The same success that Schuberth has had this season, Borg has as well. The Owls have had big moments all throughout the season including Dad Vails and Sarturday's MAC Championship, but one has to also include the Kelly Cup. Temple's V8 had great success in the cup, taking it home in resounding fashion. This also led to the boat being named MAC Boat of the Week.
Keesecker led the way to an extremely successful season for Temple's Second Varsity Eight. The Owls, at the direction of Keesecker, were able to finish the season with multiple first place victories. The boat finished in the top spot at the Kelly Cup, and the Dad Vail Regatta. The performance at Dad Vails helped the Owls secure the Women's Points Trophy for the first time since 2019. This trophy signifies the best overall team performance at Dad Vails.
