MEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO #2 RANKED VIRGINIA

10.3.01 | Men's Soccer

Philadelphia-- The Temple men's soccer team (2-5-1, 1-0) fell 4-0 to the second ranked team in the country, University of Virginia.

The Owls were only able to muster 3 three shots against Virginia with forward Matt Moran making one shot and forward Chad Donnelly with two. Goalie Patrick Hannigan had six aves on the night.

Virginia's goals were scored by Jonathon Cole, Sean Feeney and Chris Megaloudis. The fourth goal was an own goal by Temple. Goalie Kyle Singer had one save for Virginia.

The Owls travel to Duquesne on October 5, 2001. Game time is at 7 p.m.
