U.S. OLYMPIC COMMITTEE SELECTS TEMPLE'S TERRI ROGERS FOR ITS INTERN PROGRAM

11.2.01 | Women's Soccer

PHILADELPHIA -- Terri Rogers, the Graduate Assistant for Women's Soccer, was selected to participate in the United States Olympic Committee Intern Program for the 2002 Winter/Spring Semester.

Rogers is in her second season with the Owls. The Janesville, Wis. native graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. Rogers, who played for the Owls for 1995 to 1998 as a goalkeeper, is currently majoring in Sports and Recreation Management. She amassed over 1200 minutes in goal and 118 saves.

The United States Olympic Committee Intern Program selects individuals who have completed two years of college and are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree programs at an accredited U.S. college or university with an expected graduation date no earlier than May 2002. The internship sites for this semester are Colorado Springs, Colorado, Lake Placid, New York and Chula Vista, California.
