PHILADELPHIA-- Steven Wacker, a freshman forward on Temple's men's soccer team (4-13-1, 3-8,A-10) was named Philadelphia Soccer Seven player of the week for the week ending November 4.

Wacker helped the team break a nine game losing streak when he scored a goal and had an assist in a 3-2 win against La Salle on November 2.

The 5-5, 130 pound freshman is a native of Philadelphia, Pa. and went to Northeast Catholic High School. Wacker ended the season with 27 shots, one goal, two assists and four points.

The Owls ended the season with back to back wins against La Salle and Fordham. The team posted a 4-13-1 overall record and 3-8 Atlantic 10 record.
