PHILADELPHIA - Temple women's gymnastics team lost a home meet to Massachusetts
188.650 to 184.775. The loss drops the Owls' record to 5-12.
Juniors Cicely Warrington and Maggie Tolerico led the Owls. Warrington
grabbed first place on the floor exercise (9.775) and a second place finish
in the all around (37.400). Tolerico placed second on the floor with a career
high 9.750 and fourth place in the all around with a 36.925. Also senior
co-captain Danielle Corbin set a personal best on the beam with a 9.450.
Sophomore Jen Gendron led U.Mass. Gendron grabbed first place on the balance beam (9.650), in the all around (37.525) and second on the vault (9.300).
The Owls 5-12 will next visit Rhode Island to participate in a tri-meet
with Rhode Island and Brown on Saturday March 3rd at 7pm.
