Owls Sweep to Victory Over West Chester Rams

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple women's gymnastic program defeated the West Chester Rams 184.325-180.600 on Friday evening at West Chester. The Owls place first in every event. The victory improved Temple's record to 4-6 overall.
The Owls were led by juniors Andrea McGary and Cicely Warrington both placing first in two events.
McGary tied for first on the vault with West Chester's Beth Mc Ginty with a 9.325. She followed that performance by tying her teammate Cicely Warrington on the floor exercise with an outstanding 9.7.
Warrington completed her double by capturing first place in the all around with a season high score of 37.975.
Helping to cap the sweep for the Owls were Deven Miller and Paige Ozaroski. Miller, a junior grabbed first place on the balance beam with a 9.55. Ozaroski, a freshman captured first on the uneven bars with an impressive 9.725.
The Owls (4-6) will next host George Washington on Friday February 9th at 7pm in McGonigle Hall.
