The Owls finished fifth among nine teams at the Atlantic 10 Conference Regatta on the Cooper River in Camden, NJ ... In that competition, the team totaled 14 points, as the varsity eight took fourth in its race ... The varsity eight recorded the following finishes: Knecht Cup (20th of 20); San Diego Crew Classic (non-qualifier for the finals); George Washington Invitational (10th of 11); Murphy Cup (9th of 10) and Dad Vail Regatta (22nd of 33) ... Although the varsity results were disappointing, Temple's novice teams provided optimism for a bright future by recording the program's best-ever finishes in the Dad Vail (5th) and the A-10 Championships (2nd) ... The novice crew also posted a first-place finish at the Murphy Cup.
