PHILADELPHIA--The Temple men's soccer team (1-3-1)shutout Philadelphia University Rams 1-0 in an overtime win on Saturday afternoon at Ravenhill Field.

Freshman forward Vincent Mountney scored the lone goal for the Owls in their first victory of the season. The goal was made ten minutes into the first overtime. Sophomore goalkeeper Patrick Hannigan made three saves in the shutout.

The Owls are back in action on Wednesday, September 26 when they host the University of Pennsylvania.
