QUAKERS SHUTOUT THE OWLS 2-0

PHILADELPHIA-- The Temple University men's soccer team (1-4-1) lost to the Penn Quakers 2-0 in a Philadelphia Soccer Seven matchup on Wednesday afternoon, September 26 at Temple Stadium.

Freshman forward Steven Wacker led the Owls with three shots on goal while junior goalkeeper Patrick Hannigan had six saves.Temple as a team had 13 shots on goal.

Freshman forward Joe Klein scored the first goal for the Quakers at the 18:56 mark of the first half. Senior forward Sam Chamovitz followed up with a goal at the 42:05 mark in the second half.

Next up for the Owls is their Atlantic 10 opener against Saint Joseph's on September 29 at 3:00 p.m.
