TEMPLE VOLLYBALL GOES UNDEFEATED AT INVITATIONAL

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple volleyball team (6-2) went undefeated in the second day of the Temple Invitational beating St. Peter's College three games to none and Villanova University three games to none. The games scores were 30-21, 30-27 and 30-25 against St. Peter's and 30-27, 30-15 and 30-15 against Villanova.
Sophomore middle blocker Margaret Majewska led the Owls throughout the day with a total of 33 kills between both of Temple's matches. Junior outside hitter Sara Stone had 10 kills against the Wildcats and 17 against St. Peter's while sophomore outside hitter Lui Shu had an impressive five blocks between both matches.
The Owls next face the University of Penn on Tuesday, September 11, 2001 at 7:00 p.m.
