TEMPLE WOMEN'S GYMNASTICS PLACES THIRD AT TRI-MEET

1.17.02 | Women's Gymnastics

The Temple women's gymnastics team placed third in a tri-meet with Rutgers and Towson held in Piscataway, N.J., Wednesday, January 16. The Owls posted a 185.850 team score. Rutgers won the tri-meet with a 193.525 score, followed by Towson with a 191.375 effort.

Senior Cicely Warrington placed third on floor exercise with a career-high 9.925. The score was the second-highest mark on floor in Temple women's gymnastics history. Sophomore Paige Ozaroski posted the Owls best all-around score with a career-best 37.850. Ozaroski also posted the team's best score on bars (9.625) and beam (9.675).

On vault the Owls were led by junior Brynne Hillman (9.450).

Temple returns to action this Saturday, January 19, in Washington D.C. at the George Washington Invitational.
