WOMEN'S CREW COMPETES IN HEAD OF THE SCHUYKILL REGATTA

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple University women's crew competed in several races at the Head of the Schuykill Regatta held on Saturday, October 27, 2001 in Philadelphia.

In the Championship eight women's race, the Owls finished 12th (Boat "A") and 22nd (Boat "B") respectively. Boat "A" defeated local rivals Delaware, St. Joseph's and Drexel University with a time of 15:21.76.

Temple's Novice crew finished 28th in their race with a time of 18:03.07. They also defeated local crew rivals Delaware and Villanova.

Next up for the Owls is the Frostbite Regatta on November 11 in Philadelphia, Pa
