WOMEN'S CREW HAS IMPRESSIVE FINISH AT THE A-10 FALL REGATTA

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple University women's crew finished in the top three of all but one of their races this past weekend, October 28, 2001 at the Atlantic 10 Fall Regatta held on the Schuykill River in Philadelphia.

The women's four took first place with a time of 17:33, 37 seconds faster than Massachusetts who took finished second. The women's varsity 8 took third place behind Massachusetts and Fordham with a time of 15.59.

The women's freshman 8 took third place in their race with a time of 18:40. The women's quad took fourth place with a time of 17:58, just six seconds behind third place UMass.
