MEN'S AND WOMEN'S CREW COMPETE AT ANNUAL NAVY DAY REGATTA

PHILADELPHIA -- At the annual Navy Day Regatta held October 12, 2002, the men's Varsity four led the way with a third place finish and a time of 13:39.9 while the women's Varsity our came in ninth with a time if 16:06.6.

In novice action, the women's novice eight "Boat A" placed ninth with a time of 17.22.8 while the men's novice eight placed third with a time of 12:54.5

The men's Varsity eight placed second with a time of 12:19.5 in the college heavyweight division while the women's crew took sixth place with a time of 15.21.2 in the Dad Vail eights.

Next up for the men's is the Head of the Charles on October 19-20 in Boston, Mass. While the women compete on October 26 at the Head of the Schuykill.
