FIELD SET FOR INAUGURAL JOHN MACDONALD GOLF CLASSIC AT GALLOWAY NATIONAL GOLF CLUB

A field of 10 teams will take part in the inaugural John MacDonald Classic Golf Tournament, scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 28-29 at the beautiful and challenging Galloway National Golf Club in Absecon, New Jersey.

Along with the host Owls, the field will include Fordham, Loyola of Maryland, Delaware, Dartmouth, Iona, Duquesne, La Salle, Connecticut and Rutgers.

The first-ever event has been named in honor of former Temple University golf coach John MacDonald, a member of the University's Athletic Hall of Fame who retired after 30 years at the Owl helm in 2000.

Complete tournament results will be made available following each day of competition at www.golfstat.com.
