WOMEN'S CREW CONTINUES WINNING WAYS AT FROSTBITE REGATTA

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple Unviersity women's crew continues their winning ways at the annual Frostbite regatta held November 9, 2003 on the Schuylkill River.

The varsity eight took fourth place with a time of 7:34.81 while the varsity four boat "A" took second place with a time of 8:31.25 and boat "B" placed third with a time of 9:07.91.

The novice eight placed second in their heat with a time of 13:51.27 while the frosh/novice four took fourth place with a time of 10:07.30. The women's lightweight four placed third in their race with a time of 9:09.32.

Next up for the Owls is the annual Bill Braxton Regatta which will be held November 10, 2002. This will mark the last race for the Cherry and White this fall.
