DONATELLI GARNERS ATLANTIC 10 ALL-ROOKIE TEAM HONORS

PHILADELPHIA -- Freshman forward Tony Donatelli (Glenside, Pa/Germantown Academy) of the Temple University men's soccer team (6-13-1, 3-7-1 A-10) was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team, it was announced today, November 14, 2002. Donatellu was the lone Owl to garner A-10 honors this season.

In his rookie season with the Owls, Donatelli started all 20 games and took 31 shots on goal. As Temple's top scorer, Donatelli posted 10 points on three goals and four assists. He scored the game winning goal in the Owls 4-1 win over Philadelphia University on September 18.

Overall this season, the Cherry and White, under the direction of three year Head Coach David MacWilliams, finished with a 6-13-1 record and a 3-7-1 record in the Atlantic 10.
