MEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO #7 VIRGINIA 6-0 IN SEASON FINALE

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA -- In the team's 2002 season finale, the Temple University men's soccer team (6-13-1, 3-7-1 A-10) fell to #7 ranked Virginia 6-0 tonight, November 8, 2002 in Virginia.

The Cavaliers scored six goals including two in the first period and four in the second. Temple was out-shot 29-8 and was unable to capitalize on any scoring opportunities.

The Owls were led by goalie Patrick Hannigan who played all ninety minutes in goal and posted 10 saves.

Today's loss ended the Cherry and White's 2002 season. Overall the Owls were 6-13-1 and 3-7-1 in Atlantic 10 Conference play.
