TEMPLE WOMEN'S GYMNASTICS EARNS TRI-MEET VICTORY

3.10.02 | Women's Gymnastics

The Temple University women's gymnastics team won the beam and the uneven bars en route to winning a tri-meet on Saturday, March 9 at the University of Bridgeport (Conn.) with Southern Connecticut State. The Owls posted a 188.500 team score to distance themselves from Southern Connecticut (184.450) and host Bridgeport (183.425).

The Owls were led by senior Cicely Warrington and freshman Erin Davis, both of whom posted a 9.775 to share a win on beam. Warrington won the all-around competition with a 38.100. Paige Ozaroski added a 9.650 to win the uneven bars.

Sarah Wesley and Nicole Gregoire led Southern Connecticut State with a 9.450 in the vault.

The University of Bridgeport was led by Kate Warner, who posted a 9.725 to win the floor exercise.

The Owls host Cornell this Sunday, March 17, in a 2:00 p.m. dual-meet at McGonigle Hall.
