The Temple University golf team golf, in its second tournament of the spring season, finished 10th out of 18 teams at the Colonial Intercollegiate, March 25-26, 2002. The Owls shot a two-round 617 (312-305) to finish 41 strokes over par at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club in Williamsburg, Va. Elon University captured the tourney title with a 582 (+6) team score.
Temple was one of four Philadelphia schools at the Intercollegiate. The Owls finished ahead of Villanova (14th, 626), St. Joseph's (15th, 632) and Drexel (17th, 659).
