MCGARY NAMED TO A-10 GYMNASTICS ACADEMIC ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple junior Andrea McGary (Aurora, Col./Gateway H.S.), a finance major, was today named to the Atlantic 10 Conference 2002 Women's Gymnastics Academic All-Conference team with a 3.70 overall grade point average.

An Academic All-American in 2000 and 2001, McGary has earned multiple citations on the Dean's List and Athletic Director's Honor Rolls at Temple. This past season, she performed in all 12 competitions and had the A-10's 10th highest floor exercise score (a career-high) with a 9.850 versus Cornell while also tying for the league's ninth-highest vault score by posting a 9.700 in three meets.
