WOMEN'S CREW TAKES NINTH AT ATLANTIC 10 CHAMPIONSHIPS

PHILADELPHIA -- Finishing with a total of seven points, the Temple women's crew placed ninth at the 2002 Atlantic 10 Championships held this past weekend, April 27, 2002 on the Coppers River.

The women's varsity 8 placed sixth in the grand final with a time of 7:10.20 while the varsity four placed sixth with a time of 8:59.75. The Cherry and White also placed sixth in the quad grand final with a time of 9:15.50.

Temple's novice 8-A took first place in the petite final with a time of 8:11.10.

Next up for the Temple women's crew is the famous Dad Vail Regatta on May 10 and 11 in Philadelphia on the Schuylkill River.
