WARRINGTON REPRESENTS TEMPLE AT NCAA REGIONALS

Cicely Warrington represented Temple at the NCAA Women's Gymnastics Northeast Regional competition in University Park, Pa., on Saturday, April 6, 2002. The senior was one of just five at-large, individual all-around qualifiers at the competition.
Seven teams qualified for the NCAA Northeast region competition. The University of Nebraska won the regional title with a 195.925 team score.
Warrington's top score of the competition came on balance beam, where she placed 21st with a 9.675 score. Warrington also posted a 9.650 effort on vault (25th), a 9.550 score on floor exercise (37th) and had a 9.175 showing on bars (38th).
The 2002 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships take place April 18-20 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Temple, under the direction of head coach Ken Anderson, concluded the 2001-02 season with an 8-15 regular season record. Temple finished fourth at the Atlantic 10 Championships.
