CHAN NAMED T0 A-10 ACADEMIC ALL-CONFERENCE GOLF SQUAD

Temple's James Chan (Union, N.J./Union HS) has been named to the Atlantic 10 Spring Academic All-Conference Golf Team. The sophomore business administration major maintains a 3.68 overall grade point average. Chan was one of five student-athletes named to the team.
Chan had three top 20 finishes in the spring of 2002 and shot four rounds at 73 or better. He placed 10th at the A-10 Championships with a three-round 216, which included a first-round 71 and a second-round 68 (a collegiate best).
Chan has appeared in 24 career collegiate events and has three top 10 finishes to his credit.
