9.1.02 | Men's Soccer

Harrisonburg, Va.-- The Temple University men's soccer team (0-2, 0-0 A-10)dropped their second straight nail biter when they lost 1-0 to James Madison University late Sunday afternoon, September 1, 2002 at the James Madison Soccer Classic.

The Owls held James Madison scoreless until the end of the first period when JMU senior midfielder Ben Munro scored on a penalty kick to the right corner of the net past a diving Owls goalie, Patrick Hannigan (Philadelphia, Pa./Frankford). That was all James Madison would need to secure the win.

Hannigan led the way for the Owls posting five saves in 90 minutes in goal.

The Owls return home next week, September 10 to face the Villanova Wildcats

at Temple Stadium. Game time is 3:30 p.m.
