TEMPLE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TO OPEN CONFERENCE SCHEDULE BY VISITING SAINT JOSEPH'S

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple women's basketball team (4-7, 0-0 A-10) will begin Atlantic 10 Conference play by visiting crosstown rival Saint Joseph's (4-6, 0-0 A-10) on Sunday, January 5 at Noon. The game is also a Philadelphia Big 5 contest. Temple is in the midst of a six game losing skid, the longest losing streak in the Dawn Staley Era. The teams last met in the 2002 Atlantic 10 Championship Final with the Owls prevailing 63-58 to claim their first ever A-10 crown.
