The Owls shot a two round 611 (308-303, +43) on the 6,843-yard course to to finish ahead of Philly foes Drexel (5th, 613), Penn (6th, 616), Saint Joseph's (T-7th, 624), Villanova (11th, 631) and La Salle (12th, 672).
After starting the final day four strokes behind Princeton for the team lead, Georgetown won the second-annual invitational with a 597 (+29). The Hoyas' Tim Moynihan won the individual crown with a 144 (+2), which was two strokes better than the rest of the field.
Junior Patrick O'Neill led the Owls and finished tied for ninth with a two-round, 10-over 152 (76-76). Freshman Logan Terry and senior Matt Roberts placed tied for 14th with 11-over 153 efforts.
Other Cherry & White competitors included senior James Chan (T-24th, 79-76=155) and junior Billy Mullen (T-50th, 77-85=162).
Temple returns to the links October 27-28, as the Owls host the annual John MacDonald Classic at Galloway (N.J.) National Golf Club.
