WOMEN'S CREW COMPETES IN A-10 HEAD RACE AND SCHUYLKILL REGATTA

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple women's crew competed in two events during the weekend of October 25. In the 2003 Head of the Schuylkill Regatta Women's Heavy Championship Eights Final on October 25, Temple's A boat finished 11th in a time of 00:14:34:22. The boat featured coxswain Sarah Evancho along with Linsay Robidoux, Sarah Allen, Stephanie Hanlin, Nikki Rodgers, Nicki Warrick, Jo Shedletsky, Krystyna Rejrat and Lauren Guttilla.

In the Atlantic 10 Conference Head Race on October 26, Temple's women's freshman eight defeated Saint Joseph's by 18 seconds. In the women's varsity eight, the Owls' A boat finished fifth and the B boat finished eighth.
