FOUR TEMPLE MEN'S SOCCER PLAYERS NAMED TO ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT TEAMS

Viglietti, a starter on the Owl defensive unit that has posted nine shutouts and a 0.76 goals against average this season, was selected to the first team while juniors Steven Wacker and Andy Watto and sophomore Nick Ebersole were named to the second team.
A native of Stockport, England, Viglietti has compiled a 3.74 cumulative grade point average as an international business and finance major. A midfielder from Philadelphia, Wacker owns a 3.88 cumulative grade point average as a kinesiology major. Watto, a defender from Lansdale, Pa., has compiled a 3.77 cumulative grade point average as a Criminal Justice major while Ebersole, a forward from Camp Hill, Pa., has earned a 3.45 cumulative grade point average as an accounting major.
By virtue of being named to the first team, Viglietti will be placed on the national Academic All-America ballot. The Academic All-District and All-America Teams are selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Temple next plays at Philadelphia University on Tuesday, November 12 (2:00 p.m.) before traveling to the A-10 Tournament which is being held at Richmond starting on Thursday. The Owls take on George Washington in first round action on Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m.
