TEMPLE'S LOGAN TERRY NAMED A-10 GOLF ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Temple freshman Logan Terry was today named the Atlantic 10 Conference Golf Rookie of the Week. The Plymouth Meeting, Pa. native finished tied for 13th at the John MacDonald Classic, played October 27-28, at Galloway (N.J.) National Golf Club. Terry shot a 36-hole 157 (77-80) on the par 71 course.

Terry, a Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School graduate, had five top 20 finishes in the Owls' six Fall tournaments. He placed tied for 14th at the Philadelphia Big Five Classic, 18th at the Rehobeth Beach Invitational and tied for 10th at both The McLaughlin and the Navy Fall Invitational.

The Temple golf team, under the direction of third-year head coach Bill Mannnino, placed third at the MacDonald Classic, the Owls' final tournament of the Fall. The Cherry & White returns to the links in March.
