HABA EARNS A-10 VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS

PHILADELPHIA - Senior outside hitter Yamit Haba was named Atlantic 10 Volleyball Player of the Week on November 3. Haba earned her first Player of the Week honor of the season after helping the Owls go 3-0 during their homestand this week including a 3-0 sweep over La Salle on Oct. 28, a 3-1 win over Xavier on Oct. 30 and a five-game win over Dayton on Oct. 31. The Israeli native averaged 4.9 kills per game and 3.8 digs per game, hitting .375 on the week. She hit a sizzling .538 versus Xavier while having 24 kills and 18 digs in a four game match. Haba then posted an impressive double-double of 27 kills and 17 digs over Dayton to help Temple move into first place. The Owls return to action on Wednesday, November 5 when they host American in a non-conference match at McGonigle Hall. Match time is 7:00 p.m.
