HANNIGAN, BROCKER NAMED TO ALL-REGION TEAMS

PHILADELPHIA - The two key players to Temple's University men's soccer's record-setting defense, Patrick Hannigan and Joe Brocker, were named to the NSCAA/adidas all-Mid-Atlantic Region second and third teams, respectively. The duo helped lead the Owls to a 13-6-3 overall record and a school-record 11 shutouts.

Hannigan, a junior goalkeeper, tied the Temple record for shutouts in a season with nine. Named the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of Year and Soccer Seven co-Player of the Year, he also posted a 0.68 goals against average and a .867 save percentage.

Brocker, a sophomore sweeper back, earned first team all-Soccer Seven for his efforts as well as being recognized during the season as a National Player of the Week selection.
