WOMEN'S VARSITY EIGHT TAKES THIRD AT BRAXTON MEMORIAL REGATTA

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple University women's crew brought home a third place finish with a time of 5:49.6 at the annual Bill Braxton Memorial held Sunday, November 10, 2003. The varsity four boat "A" placed second with a time of 6:22.1 while boat "B" placed third with a time of 6:51.6.

The freshman/novice boat "A" placed fifth with a time of 6:06.8 while boat "B" placed third in their heat with a time of 6:56.7.

This was the last race of the fall season for the Owls. Their next race is schedule for March 15, 2003 when they head on the road for a dual meet with Central Florida.
