WOMEN'S VARSITY EIGHT, LIGHTWEIGHT FOUR TAKE FIRST AT ROLLINS TRI-MEET

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple University women's crew took first place in the varsity eight and the lightweight four at the Rollins Tri-Meet held Saturday, March 15, 2003 in Florida.

The women's varsity 8 comprised of coxswain Mollie Llewellyn, Lindsay Robidoux, Nikki Rodgers, Wendy Mielnik, Stefanie Kolle, Kelly Gross, Jo Shedletsky, Krystyna Rejrat and Lauren Guttilla, took first place with a time of 6:43.7. The lightweight four comprised of coxswain Sarah Evancho, Krystyna Rejrat, Alexis Sakulich, Kelly Gross and Jenn West also took first place with a time of 7:52.6.

The women's novice four placed second with a time of 8:04.9 while the novice 8 placed third with a time of 7:46.6. The women's varsity 4 placed third overall with a time of 7:45.6.

Next up for the Owls is a tri-meet with Lehigh and Villanova on Saturday, March 22 in Conshohocken, Pa.
