WOMEN'S TRACK PLACES FIRST IN FOUR EVENTS AT QUAKER INVITATIONAL

Sophomore Jaweia Campbell placed first in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.33 while sophomore Jessica Dunston placed first in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 14.27. The 4X100 and the 4X400 relay teams placed first with time of 46.50 and 3:55.30 respectively.
Other top 10 finishes included freshman Jenee Moore with a fifth place finish in the 200 meter dash with a time of 12.69, seniors Marirose Roach and Edith Lewis with second and ninth place finishes and times of 25.86 and 26.53 respectively in the 200 meter dash, and Aderonke Adeniyi and Tiffany Duncan with second and seventh place finishes and times of 58.00 and 59.15 respectively in the 400 meter dash. Samantha Porter placed third in the 800 meter dash with a time of 2:22.31 while sophomore Farren Benson and junior Nicole Porter placed eighth and ninth in the event with times of 2:24.51 and 2:24.80 respectively.
Sophomore Rachel Clinton picked up a second place finish in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 14:44 while freshman Aisha Raheem placed second in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:04.60. In the long jump, Moore placed third with a score of 5.21 meters and freshman Jillian Faulks placed fifth in the triple jump with a score of 10.01 meters.
Next up for the Owl is the N.C. State Invitational on Match 28 and 29.
