Owls Record Seven Personal Records at American Conference Outdoor Championships

DENTON, Texas - Temple University's women's outdoor track and field has concluded the American Conference Outdoor Championships. The three-day meet was held by UNT and marked the start of the postseason for the Owls. Freshman Kei-Mahri Hanna placed fourth in the 400m hurdles after setting a new personal record with a time of 59.15. Rice won the meet with an overall score of 142.

Results

Lila Ziegler set a new personal record in the 100m dash with a time of 11.77. She also ran a 24.25 in the 200m dash, placing 23rd out of 39 athletes.
Hanna placed 10th in the 400m prelims with a time of 54.92. Mariah Jameson (57.33), and Grace Hickman (58.73) also competed in this event.
Chloe Smith set a new personal record in the 400m hurdles prelims with a time of 1:00.18. Dicia Watkins also competed in this event and finished with a time of 1:05.78.
Laila Cottom ran a 2:14.10 in the 800m dash.
Rian Johnson finished the 1500m race with a time of 4:42.27.
Rose Tuomisto came across the line in the 10000m race with a time of 40:10.33.
In the high jump, Smilla Ranebro set a new personal record with a height of 1.64m (5'-4.5").
Inara Shell jumped a distance of 5.93m (19'-6.25") to land her in 10th place out of 30 athletes. It also marked a new personal record for the senior.
Kamryn Ohm finished fifth out of 22nd in the pole vault after reaching a new height of 3.89m (12'-9"). Reece Sullivan also competed in this event and finished with a height of 3.59m (11'-9.25").
Shell finished sixth out of 21 athletes in the triple jump with a distance of 12.46m (40'-10.5"). Reagan Schwartz set a new personal record in this event after jumping 12.25m (40'-2.25"). Deja Scott also set a personal record with a distance of 11.83m (38'-9.75"),
Representing the Owls in the 4x400m relay was Hanna, Jameson, Smith, and Ziegler. They placed sixth out of 12 schools by running a season's best time of 3:42.01.
